Dick Cannon, Class of 1956, of Atlanta, Georgia, has more than 35 years of experience in all aspects of real estate development, including the finance, development, construction and management of real estate projects and enterprises. Before forming The Cannon Company, he served as President of Cousins Properties, Inc. and CFO of the Sea Pines Company. At Cousins, he was involved in the financing and development of apartments, condominiums, single-family lots and homes, golf communities, retail centers, and office parks and buildings. Dick earned a BA in Economics from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Harvard University Graduate School of Business. Present and past affiliations include the Urban Land Institute, Financial Executives Institute and the Harvard Club.
